(Video at Bottom of Page) Listen to Colin Cowherd predict the 2020 season for the New England Patriots just days after they made one of the most talked about moves of the offseason by signing former MVP Cam Newton.

Newton is still just 30 years old but is now five years removed from an MVP campaign that saw a Panthers team go 15-1 and reach the Super Bowl.

Five years later and Newton nearly made it to training camp unsigned, as most had feared that Newton would go into the season without a team, and going ahead with an ominous plan of hoping a starting quarterback somewhere around the league got injured.

Despite being rumored to be in on Newton for the last three months ever since Tom Brady bolted for the Bucs, it was looking like New England was steering towards a franchise rebuild headed by second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham.

Despite some in the media heavily backing Stidham’s prospects, Colin was never a fan of the proposal, and thought the idea of Stidham replacing Brady was laughable.

Check out the video below as Colin goes through every game on the Patriots’ schedule and pencils in W’s and L’s, as well as predicts when Newton will eventually overtake Stidham for the starting job.
