If you're a soccer fan, you won't want to miss this. iHeartPodcasts has announced a new two-part podcast series, "San Diego FC: Behind the Flow," which explores the beginnings and aspirations of Major League Soccer's (MLS) newest team, San Diego FC.
Hosted by sports personality Adrian Garcia Marquez, the first 10 episodes provide an inside look at the creation of San Diego FC, from its inception to its debut game. This segment captures the challenges and triumphs of building a team, fanbase, and club identity from scratch. The podcast also highlights the club's pioneering mixed-gender Right to Dream Academy, which aims to identify top talent, including scouting young players in Mexico.

Midway through its inaugural season, San Diego FC sits second in the MLS Western Conference standings, with 30 points from 17 matches. The team's CEO, Tom Penn, emphasized the club's mission to create a deeply connected and authentic presence in San Diego.
