Colin Cowherd Says Packers Aren't a Top 10 Team Despite 3-1 Start

Colin Cowherd: “The good news for the Packers is that they know their problems. Self-awareness is very, very important and I think Aaron Rodgers knows the problem. Green Bay has become one of those teams who only has one way to win. The box score looks beautiful: 24 first downs, 450 yards, dominant time of possession, very few penalties – we think they’re smart, but with Aaron, Matt LaFleur, and the best running back corps in a bad division, they’re 22nd in scoring in the league, and this is why I don’t put them in my top 10. They’ve beaten a bad Bears team, Tampa with none of its receivers, and a third-string quarterback who took them to overtime. As long as Aaron is the quarterback and playing with rookie receivers his personality is: ‘you make a mistake, I’ll punish you.’ You saw it, Romeo Doubs fumbled early and Aaron ghosted him for two quarters. LaFleur had to go back to reverses to get him the ball. There’s a lot of GREAT with Aaron but when Allen Lazard is you’re no. 1, he can’t be stubborn. They’ve become like the Titans, Ravens, and 49ers with Garoppolo; they can only beat you one way, and Aaron knows it. If Mac Jones were to play Green Bay doesn’t win that game. If Evans, Godwin, and Julio Jones play for Tampa you think Green Bay beats Tampa? Absolutely no way. Green Bay is too one-dimensional; they just have one of the great quarterbacks of our lives.” (Full Video Above)

Watch Colin Cowherd explain why he doesn’t think the Green Bay Packers are one of the ten best teams in the NFL despite the Packers winning three of their first four games.

Check out the segment above as Colin details why the Packers are too one-dimensional to be considered a player in the NFC right now, adding that they would have lost to the Bucs if Tampa’s star receivers would have played, and to the Patriots if Mac Jones was healthy.
