Buffalo Supermarket Mass Shooting Defendant Expected to Change Plea Today

The defendant in the mass shooting at a Buffalo supermarket is expected to plead guilty to state charges today.

Payton Gendron is accused of killing ten Black people in May. Authorities say it was a racially-motivated attack.

The plea hearing was initially set for last week but was postponed by the big snowstorm in Erie County.

Gendron is facing a 25-count indictment that includes ten counts of murder. He's also facing federal charges.
