Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers is being placed in the league's concussion protocol. The injury occurred in the Bolts' 20-17 overtime loss at Jacksonville on Sunday. Though he never left the game, Rivers helped make a tackle following an interception on what was LA's final offensive play. The 35-year old has made 185 consecutive starts since taking over the job in 2005.
If he is unable to play in Week 11, Kellen Clemens would make the start under center against the Buffalo Bills.
