Foo Fighters' New Album 'Concrete And Gold' Is Out Now

After dropping two singles, "Run," and "The Sky Is A Neighborhood," the Foo Fighters have released their brand-new album, Concrete and Gold, on Friday (September 15).

For their ninth studio effort, the rock veterans decide to take a page from the classic sounds of The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, but also flip the script to the gloss of super-producer Greg Kurstin (Adele, P!NK). Concrete and Gold initially kicked off with just a small idea after Dave Grohl heard a song from The Bird and the Bee, an indie pop duo consisting of Inara George and Kurstin. After forming a personal bond with Kurstin, Grohl worked up the courage to ask him to produce the LP and that's just the tip of the iceberg. If you want to learn more about how Concrete and Gold came about, take a look below at the band's ridiculously entertaining animated retelling of the recording process.

Fans of the group might also be surprised to hear a collaboration with none other than Justin Timberlake, who contributed last-minute vocals to "Make It Right." Among the other guests on the LP include Paul McCartney, Inara George, David Koz, Alison Mosshart of The Kills.
