Andy and Mike were joined again by NBC Horse Racing Analyst, Randy Moss this morning. Randy talked about the comments made by California Chrome's owner, Steve Coburn. And he says the strategy against potential Triple Crown winners by other owners, is nothing new.

Randy Moss: "If you go back and look at the 11 horses that have won the Triple Crown, and you specifically look at their Belmont Stakes, they faced a total of 51 rivals in those 11 Belmont Stakes. Out of those 51 horses, 25 - almost exactly 1/2, had not run in either the Kentucky Derby or the Preakness... It is nothing new to get horses into the Triple Crown chase at the end who are fresh, who are better rested, who are new shooters. It's something that the Triple Crown winners have had to deal with since we first started calling the series "The Triple Crown" way back in the day."
